ICW Group has realized significant results after its nine-month implementation of FirstBest UMS, which ICW Group has branded “Snap.”  The FirstBest UMS™-based system combines a next-generation underwriting workstation and a business analyst workstation with a Web 2.0 agent portal for commercial lines carriers.  The product was designed by agents and underwriters, so it streamlines processes, making underwriting faster and more accurate. It also captures the knowledge of ICW’s top underwriters, helping to maintain best practices and enforce rules.  In the first year, Snap use resulted in increased submissions, increased quote production, underwriting productivity, and real-time collaboration with ICW’s agents.
