December 2008: FirstBest Enhances Underwriting Management System
FirstBest Systems launched version 2.0 of its Underwriting Management System (UMS), featuring submission process and time-to-bind enhancements for carriers and agents. UMS 2.0 offers rules-driven straight-through-processing, including online quotes for agents. In addition, the solution includes new line-of-business forms and content for business owner policy and commercial auto policy lines. The system also supports the import of Microsoft Excel-based Fleet or Statement of Value spreadsheets directly into electronic submission.
